The Project
We were approached by Ashgrove Academy to quote for the refurbishment of a number of key areas within the school, although the work was not heavily demanding it was I believe our attention to detail in the estimating process which provided the opportunity of working with the school once our tender had been accepted. From day one they were looking for a preferred contractor who could carry out the works to a high standard and work with their facilities manager on a day by day basis to drive home this project within the six-week timeline.
Although the work took place in the summer holidays, the School was bustling with not only other contractors who are not part of our project but also the support and admin teams who are taking this time to catch up and prepare for the new term.
They required a contractor who could work diligently and who they could trust to deliver whilst keeping to the specification set out by the management team.
Problem Solved
Through our site management, we were able to demonstrate excellent communication skills from all trades on site via our site supervisor in speaking directly with their facilities manager to move the job forward and find solutions where they were required.
The project ran very smoothly, and all works completed within the timeframe despite some minor changes in the specification by the client.
The project was followed up by a video testimonial with the head, Lisa Finnigan where she spoke highly about our professionalism and job site management throughout the project. Mentioning that she would have no hesitation in contacting Construction Linx again for any future projects.
